It's important to recognize the signs of a mental health crisis so you can get help for yourself or someone you care about.
Warning Signs of Suicide
- Talking about wanting to die or kill themselves
- Looking for ways to kill themselves (searching online, buying weapons)
- Talking about feeling hopeless or having no reason to live
- Talking about feeling trapped or in unbearable pain
- Talking about being a burden to others
- Increasing use of alcohol or drugs
- Acting anxious, agitated, or reckless
- Sleeping too little or too much
- Withdrawing or feeling isolated
- Showing rage or talking about seeking revenge
- Extreme mood swings

- Stay with them - Don't leave them alone
